Capital City Police in a crack down Tuesday arrested six persons for selling SIMs of mobile telephones of various companies illegally.
Capital City Police Officer,DIG Muhammad Pervez Rathore told News Agencies here this evening that six persons were arrested for selling SIMs illegally through fake franchise without any lawful permission of mobile company,without obtaining photocopy of national identity card and maintaining record of the users.
He said that all such unscrupulous elements who are still indulged in this malpractice are once again to desist from such unlawful activities otherwise they will be taken to task and brought to justice.
He asked the people to inform the nearest police station or 15 if any person is found selling the SIMs illegally for prompt action against the culprits.
